School is back in session,
with Professor Beck in charge. If you were fortunate enough to enroll in his
previous classes, then you already know what to expect. For those arriving late,
we here at Pocket PC Life have you covered. Get up to date without class notes
on Professor Beck's previous offerings. So far he has taught us how to become
astronauts with Rocket
Elite, and later how to play nice in the sandbox with Bust'em
.

Now its time to drive dirt
bikes for cash. A prerequisite Motor Biker Safety class is required; otherwise
those unfamiliar with the proper handling of today?s fast turning, earth
gripping cycles will be mucking up the race course for others. So before you
even think about racing, go immediately to the free range where goofups and
tumbles are on the house.
While getting a
grip on steering, here are some features you can look forward to in the full
race and stunts section:
- 45 beautifully crafted
levels!
- Super-fluid animation, real-time shadows, and impressive frame rates.
- Realistic physics and gameplay.
- Control with the stylus or gamepad.
- Configurable buttons and persistent settings.
- Playable in either portrait or landscape device orientations.
- Real-time device orientation & gamma correction.
Once you feel comfortable
using the stylus or gamepad, its time to race! I prefer the landscape mode since
this provides more maneuverability when going around corners. Racing is considered
95 percent concentration and 5 percent perspiration. Just like the best tasting
barbeque, off-road riding is all about timing and turning. If you don?t
turn the meat on time, it gets charred just like your body will take the punishment
for failing to round a corner. No one wants to feel the heat of the exhaust
and mud of the bike in the lead, nor do you want to take unnecessary risks.

To ensure everyone?s
safety while riding, try to observe the way of the Moto:

Motocross
Top Five Tips
1.) Wear your helmet and any other protective gear for any body part you
want to keep intact. No need to get a close shave from the other guy?s
rear wheel!
2.) Use an exhaust silencer only when you want your neighbors to still like
you.
3.) Private property and construction sights are not the smartest places
to ride
4.) Use a two way wireless headset instead of shouting at other riders
5.) Slamming on your brakes to block other bikers from passing can be a
painful experience (see rule number 1)

Just like other
racing type games, you need to score at a certain percentage in order to unlock
the next track. To do that, sometimes you?ll need to take the shortcut
to get into first place, while at other times it?s just a matter of going
around the track without crashing into another biker. This is a ?clean?
sport, so no kicking; punching, whips or chains with spikes may be used. Any
person found with these items will automatically get their bike impounded for
a minimum of three races. However, all the bad behavior is not bleached out-
you are still permitted to be an aggressive rider- cut others off, don?t
wait your turn, and basically heckle others as you steal their finishing time
by a mere tire length. |
